Last weekend, some of the Pimp Stitch girls got to work building kits for our upcoming events. We did more of the first two kits we've already done and put together 3 all new kits!
We all met at Lauren's house, which is a lovely place to meet, and got to work. We are in the process of building 100 kits! We did almost 50 at our first kit building bash!
The fabulous Amy Cluck designed the toppers, aren't they pretty all lined up!
Our own Lauren Brandy cut all the fat quarters of Osnaburg fabric that come in every kit!
As you can see in the picture, she takes her job very seriously. Cutting all that fabulous fabric is hard work and she kicked bootie.
She also made us fantastic snacks and had fun fizzy drinks for us to enjoy. She's the hostess with the mostest! She even made delicious rice krispy treats while we were there. Yum! Treats make building kits fun!
Make sure you come out to see us in Santa Rosa on September 28th at the Steam Trunk Craft Show which is part of the Handcar Regatta! It should be a fun day out for the whole family so don't miss it!
Tamie Snow (me!) was wrapping floss til she could wrap no more. Over 100 skeins of floss were wrapped! Amazing. Thank god that Amy and Lauren could lend a hand...it was a lot!
But isn't it so colorfull all bobbined up! I <3 Floss!
And here is Ms. Amy wearing some of her colorful and gorgeous jewelry working hard...I love this shot!
So all in all, got a lot of work done, laughed a lot and made some kickass kits to sell you guys at shows this Fall and Winter.
Hope to see you at Steam Trunk, You Bazaar and Bazaar Bizarre this year. We'll all be there waiting for you to come and meet us!
Until the next time...
