Tamie Snow was one of founders of Pimp Stitch. It sprang to life quite randomly with the hope of bringing some friends together and showcasing thier art...not to mention having some fun at the same time (and perhaps a reason to meet up for sangria to discuss "business").
Tamie is also the owner of Roxycraft.com. She has been crafting since childhood and has been in the craft business since 2001. She loves to crochet and knit but is trying to branch out and put her designs to work in new crafty realms.
When she's not crafting she's trying not kill all of her plants, wearing sunglasses as a headband, thinking up excuses for not getting in the shower before noon, forgetting to paint her toenails and running in the opposite direction of all kinds of wildlife (especially those with 6 legs or more).

Ok, so I'm googling to find covered button bobby pin tutorials and have stumbled across this site. So, is this hand embroidery I guess? And how can I buy the turtle and bird designs? I love them!!!
